The Easy Way to Dispute Items on your Credit Report

Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union do not allow you to dispute items on your credit report over the Internet. Instead, you should do so by mail, and we have an easy form for doing so.

First, you'll need a copy of your credit report, so you can circle the item(s) that you wish to dispute.

Then, fill-in, print, and mail the Dispute Form that you find here.

Fill-in, print and mail this to the address on your credit report. One page for each disputed item.

If a correction is made, a free copy of the corrected report
Written notice if the item is re-added to the report based on proof from the information provider.
If I disagree with your findings, I want to write a statement and ask that it be included in all future reports.
